Grace Boldewijn

Grace Boldewijn is a major shareholder and CEO of the BoCari Group. BoCari specialises in executing projects for companies across food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and petrochemical industry sectors. In 2003, Grace was named the European Black Business Woman of the Year. She strongly believes in the importance of ethical practices and corporate social responsibility, placing them above mere profit generation. With her background as a chemical engineer, Grace has honed her expertise in project development. She follows the REPAC model (Ready, Execute, Process, Analyze, Coordinate) in her work. Her experience is extensive and diverse, and she excels in both conceptual thinking and implementation.

Richard J. Carter

Richard is an independent consultant and advisor who in 2021 retired after 30 years from his role as a Senior Executive at BASF including multiple international assignments. His first degree was European Business Administration (BA Hons), then obtaining an MBA with distinction from Manchester Business School. In his role as international consultant Richard focuses on strategy and the decarbonisation agenda for the petrochemicals and chemicals industry, with particular emphasis on the Circular Economy and recycling. Richard is a chemical industry expert with his last role as MD of BASF UK / Ireland, where he was responsible for leading strategic restructuring including divestments, carve-outs, and a transformational change programme.

Jonathan Glass

Jonathan is a Partner at global communications consultancy, Brunswick Group, where he has worked since 1996. He advises corporates on their critical issues across the UK and internationally. Prior to Brunswick, Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, working in London and New York on litigation support and corporate recovery. Jonathan is a member of Court at Newcastle University, having previously been a member of Council and Chair of the Audit, Risk and Assurance Court there from 2014-2022.

Hella C. Koops

Hella C. Koops is a Senior Project Manager and Group Lead for the Circular Plastics cluster at TNO (Dutch institute for applied research). She holds a MSci degree in chemical engineering from Delft University of Technology and started her career in 1995 at Fluor, where she was involved in global engineering projects while based in The Netherlands and in California. She then moved to Avantium as Engineering Manager for Avantium’s first industrial bio-based monomer plant. After obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from Cambridge University she joined TNO in 2021, where she focuses on convening European private and public players to develop and scale circular plastics solutions towards impact.

Gareth Jones

Gareth is a Non-Executive Director, Consultant and advises Boards on strategy and sustainability, with a particular focus on bringing cleantech innovations to market. He was previously CEO at Thermitech, where he led the chemistry, safety review and engineering redesign of the ATC 100, now Itero’s pilot-scale R&D facility. Prior to joining Thermitech, Gareth was CEO of Strainstall, a global safety engineering group. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with EY after completing his Master’s Degree in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford.
